Palma becomes the meeting point for photography lovers with the Mallorca Photo Festival. From April 24 to August 30, the island brings together photographers, visual creators and image enthusiasts in an event where talent, inspiration and creativity take centre stage,<\/strong> featuring workshops, talks and activities spread across more than 35 venues around the island. <\/p>\n\n

La Miseric\u00f2rdia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

This venue hosts exhibitions by the winner of the 2025 Mallorca Contemporary Photography Award, Bandia Ribeira<\/strong>, and by Beatriz Polo<\/strong>,<\/strong> winner of the 2025 Mallorca Talent Illenc Photography Award.<\/p>\n\n

Casal Solleric <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

At Casal Solleric, visitors will be able to discover works by American photographer Donna Ferrato<\/strong>. Her documentary work focuses on gender violence, female intimacy and domestic life through a direct, emotional and deeply human perspective.<\/p>\n\n

The venue will also present an exhibition by photographer Joan Fontcuberta<\/strong>, one of the leading figures in contemporary conceptual photography, showcasing works that question the boundaries between reality, fiction and image. His work can also be seen at the Toni Catany Foundation and Xavier Fiol Gallery.<\/p>\n\n

Fundaci\u00f3 Joan March<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The Fundaci\u00f3 Joan March takes part in the Mallorca Photo Festival with an exhibition dedicated to Crist\u00f3bal Hara<\/strong>, one of the leading names in documentary photography in Spain. <\/p>\n\n

Es Baluard Museu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The museum brings together several proposals focused on contemporary photography and experimental imagery. The programme combines national and international artists exploring concepts such as identity, memory, territory and social transformation through highly contemporary visual languages.<\/p>\n\n

Fundaci\u00f3 Mir\u00f3 Mallorca<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

One of the festival\u2019s highlights is the exhibition \u2018Horta Picasso \u2013 Mir\u00f3 Mont-roig\u2019 by photographer Jean Marie del Moral.<\/strong> Visitors will also be able to experience the audiovisual intervention by Claudio Zulian.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The galleries of Art Palma Contemporani once again play a leading role within the Mallorca Photo Festival, turning Palma into a true route through contemporary photography. Among the participating galleries is Galeria Reus, presenting artists such as Ricardo Cases.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Talks and parallel activities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Beyond the exhibitions, the festival is committed to a participatory programme featuring talks, meetings and activities open to the public. The PHOF Talks bring together photographers, artists and industry professionals over the coming months to discuss contemporary photography, creative processes and artificial intelligence, among other topics. <\/p>\n\n

The festival also includes workshops, guided tours, screenings, photobook signings and photographic routes across different parts of the island. <\/p>\n\n
