Atlàntida Film Fest returns in 2026, firmly established as one of the year’s most important cultural events.
The festival will take place from June 24 to August 2, with a programme spread across Palma’s cinemas, streaming platforms and La Misericòrdia, one of the festival’s regular venues.
During these days, Mallorca becomes a meeting point for conversations around cinema, contemporary thought and new audiovisual narratives, featuring premieres, special screenings and an online programme that expands the festival far beyond the island.
This edition further strengthens its hybrid and generational character: auteur cinema alongside more disruptive proposals, where trap music and contemporary culture take on a greater role this year.
In addition, the festival maintains its usual structure with the Official Section, documentaries, emerging cinema and international premieres, while this year introducing a clearer focus on music and contemporary culture.
The opening gala will take place at La Misericòrdia, featuring a performance by artist Laaza, while the closing ceremony on August 2 will be led by Leonor Watling.
Other artists participating in Atlàntida Film Fest include La Zowi, Lorna, Barry B, Nacho Vegas and La Bien Querida. The line-up also features emerging artists such as Teo Planell and Parkineos, among others.
As for music-related films, the festival will screen the debut project by Charli XCX and Barrio Triste, produced by Bad Bunny.
